SunCap Property Group
“Our company developed a facility for an international automotive parts supplier in Rock Mill Industrial Park in Lancaster, OH. We worked jointly with Mike Pettit and his team at the Lancaster Port Authority/Economic Development Association throughout the entire project. Mike and his team represented the community and business community of Lancaster in a best-in-class manner from inception to ribbon cutting and were an extremely valuable part of bringing this company and its operation to Lancaster. Every commercial development comes with challenges but with Mike’s pragmatic approach to business procurement and development, this project was made a reality and has been a wonderful addition to the Lancaster community. If your company is exploring the Columbus, OH region for a potential location to do business, I would recommend reaching out to Mike and his team to learn about the advantages that Lancaster has to offer.”

“Magna originally chose Lancaster and Fairfield County because of its central location for supplying multiple automotive assembly locations, access to a potential employee base, and sub-supplier partner proximity, but the real advantage of Lancaster/Fairfield is the community’s commitment to helping businesses succeed. Whether it’s training and developing a strong workforce or just promptly responding to a question, Magna knows this community always has our back.”

South Central Power
“South Central Power's history with the City of Lancaster extends back to when the cooperative was created, some 80 years ago. Although we are presently located north of the City, our original office was in downtown Lancaster and after 50+ years we are excited to be returning to the City.
Our decision to combine our three central Ohio offices into a single location required an assessment of over 20 sites along Highway 33. Our site selection process continued to bring us back to Lancaster where we are proud to become an even larger part of the community. The site was served by all the necessary utilities and the immediate access to a four-lane highway is critical to serve our central Ohio members.
The City's leadership, overall quality of life, low cost of living, new schools, and modern medical facilities were all factors in our decision. Lancaster has it all – from a thriving downtown with great restaurants and amenities, to centers for advanced manufacturing and everything in between. We believe this location will also be pivotal for us as we continue to grow and recruit our next generation or workers.”

Blue Label Packaging Company
“Our firm has been continuously operating in Lancaster since 1957, and we don’t plan on moving any time soon. Lancaster is an exceptional location from a logistics standpoint. It’s central position allows us to reach our customers across the continental US, from California to Maine, in a cost-effective manner.
As technology focused company, high caliber team members are crucial to our success. With a large number of educational institutions nearby, like Ohio State University, Ohio University, Columbus State, and many more, we have access to a large pool of educated talent in the commutable range of our facility. This, combined with the strong manufacturing ethos of Lancaster, gives us a large supply of skilled, motivated individuals to accommodate our company’s recent growth.
When it came time to expand our facility, the city of Lancaster was a huge help to us. Lancaster Economic Development put us in touch with the people and resources we needed and made the decision to continue growing in Lancaster a very easy choice. Lancaster is a great community for a growing business, and we’re happy to call it home.”
